The accidental ignition of an atmosphere containing a large quantity of gas, vapour, mists and/or dust may cause an explosion. The measures of European Directive ATEX 2014/34/EU also cover installations where combustible dust is produced in the processing of pulverised and grain products or alloys (for example automotive industry, foundries).

Siapro filters as do all types of Siapro shotblasting machines can be delivered with anti-explosion equipment, which fully complies with European Directive ATEX 2014/34/EU. The atex are assembled with our shot blasting machines were designed and developed to ensure suitable applications in qualified Atex II3D environments.
